According to the Ivory Game, there are now less than 400,000 elephants in Africa. China is the biggest illegal ivory market. The conflict between elephants and humans have been rising. The population of Africa is speeding up. People need more food to consume. The only solution is fight for the land from elephants. So they have to enlarge their land to grow more plantations. But there do they get the land from? The elephants. The scene that I remember the most was the people holding weapons and saying that they wanted to kill every elephants. I feel that ivory trade might not be the most important issue. The conflict between human and elephants fighting for land is the key issue. I appreciate the people who made huge sacrifices and wanted to expose the horrible images in the documentary. The film is very vivid. But what can we do to make this horrible conflict stop? How can we solve the land problem? At the end, what would happen to humans if all the elephants are gone? And all the animals in the world are gone because of people’s desire? We have to learn how to balance and stay at peace with other species. We are not the only species that own the earth. We will eventually suffer from what we have done in nature. After a hundred year, I don’t want young people asking what is an elephant? Why are they all gone? Aren’t they suppose to be the biggest animal on the land?
