Week 6

Looking back on the steps that I have been taking since week 1 to write this essay, the big 3, reading assigned articles and videos, and analyzing assigned literature review. Reading articles and videos build my knowledge on animals and build my interest on learning them. Having knowledge and interest would largely help me on writing my literature essay. The big 3 helps me learn how to find sources and analyzing them step by step. They are a great way on dissecting each sources. Assigned literature review allows us to look at other sources and learn from the others.

I am not so confident on meeting essay objectives. The work load is a lot and I sometimes forget to focus on the details. I meet the minimum sources requirement and a work cited page. But I am not too confident on my language and grammar errors. I am also late in turning in my essays. I wish we could get more time on completing the essays.

I plan to focus on ivory trade since my literature essay is on elephants. Too much blood has been spilled on the land of Africa due to people’s desire. We must learn the serious aftermath of trading ivory. Why do people think it is okay to kill elephant only for their profits? Elephants are the most innocent species. They are highly intelligent. Getting one ivory means a baby elephant has lost one of their parents. It will lead to adolescent PTSD and killing massacre within elephant tribute.
